Cadet Biathlon Zones.

Weather will forecast shows temperature declining by evening tomorrow.

Day time -6 to -10 Degree C.

Please wear appropriate winter wear for conditions ensuring ears, and head are covered.

Timing

To review from Thursday’s announcements,

We are requesting that cadets arrive 0800 hrs at SNLC and go collect ski equipment.

Other Cadets from the area will be arriving at 0830 and I suspect it is going to be crowded.

Thus being a little earlier to be prepared and help store items.

The timings for the race are as follows based on the information provided to 223 Red Lion for the Baithlon Zones.

Time Information
0825hrs 223 Red Lion Cadets arrive at SNLC collecting their Ski equipment
0900hrs  223 Red Lion cadets will Check in / Registration confirmation
0930hrs Coaches meeting 2LT Rossner attending,
Cadets standby for direction
2LT Rossner will be collecting your Jersey #, and Race Start information
0950hrs Cadets in Groups of 2, assigned to 2 lanes will each have their rifles Zeroed
Cadets will fire 5 shots at Bravo, then receive adjustment info for their site
Cadets will fire 5 shots at Bravo again, and then may receive adjustment info for their Site
Cadets will do 500m loop hard to get cardio up,
Cadets will shoot 5 shots at Alpha, and may receive a slight adjustment to site.
We have only 10min to Zero two cadets rifles at a time.
Time is important and we need to stay focused.
Cadets not zeroing will standby for their time and or further instruction.
1050hrs Zero Closes/ Trail closed
1100hrs Race Begins, Cadets are provided a start race time. All racers ( All Cadets including 223 Red lion ) Race at 30 second start intervals.
1330hrs     Race is complete. Change to dry and warm winter cover, return ski rentals
1400hrs  Awards and Presentations – Last year this was near the Biathlon Range.
Declarations will have to be done.
1500hrs Biathlon is complete, please see 2LT Rossner to confirm you are ok to go before leaving.

Age/gender categories will be grouped for starts

Additional information

Lunches will be provided around 1100hrs by Biathlon function to all Cadets.

Cadets need to be observant of their assigned race start time

I may require help from Screened Parents who are available to ensure that arm slings are placed, and returned.

In addition for time info in case Cadets arrive at shooting mat but are unable to shoot recording Cadet name, Start Delay time, and able to shoot time.

These 10 arm bands are being kindly loaned to us, and we need all 10 back at the end of the race.

We are also being loaned a sling.

Lastly to ensure Cadets are aware of their start time and at the Race starting line for their start time.

In addition if 9 lunches can be collected and handed to cadets, with the exception of Sgt Rossner.
