Information
Parents/Guardians:
On November 26th we have a really awesome Aerospace field trip planned for the cadets! The cadets will get a chance to tour KF Aerospace, hosted by me! They will learn about aircraft maintenance, aircraft repair and see giant aircraft in various stages of modification.
Following that, we will walk over to the newly opened KF Aerospace Center of Excellence. This facility is home to various aircraft such as the Hawker Tempest and Mosquito Bomber which will be viewed in the hangar sections. Cadets will learn about the history of aviation in the Okanagan and spend some time in the museum section section of the facility. There are a couple of flight simulators too!
We are very fortunate that our SSC can provide bus transportation for this event, so I hope we get the best turn-out possible.
